Milka Popova is a research scientist at UMR Herbivores in INRAE. She is working on rumen microbial ecology, and her research aims to shed light on the role of microbes in methane production and feed efficiency. She employs a large panel of methods including anaerobic microbiology, molecular biology, in vitro and in vivo experiments and -omics to get a more in-depth insight into microbial interactions.
